"Darling, It's Time"

No words of wisdom here. No thoughts on philosophy of life or love. This one is just for the romance of it. Julia Roberts and Javier Bardem play two people who had their hearts crushed and are afraid to love again. For Liz Gilbert (Julia Roberts' character) it's been about a year. For Felipe (Javier Bardem's character) it has been ten years. They know they love each other but they have not yet made love.

Until Felipe puts Joao Gilberto's "'S Wonderful" in his stereo, walks to Liz, offers his hand and says "Darling, it's time".

*sigh*

I absolutely love it. "Wonderful, marvelous that you should care for me". Yeah, hopeless romantic, that's me.
