Life is a journey influenced by the words we speak, read, think and hear. Where have a choice, maximizing our exposure to words that make us grow and beauty in all its forms makes the journey so much better. My blog is about those choices of words, sights and sounds.
Review and Promotion Policy
I love supporting indie authors and will read a variety of genres but my favorites are historical fiction, horror/thriller, erotica and general fiction. I especially enjoy stories involving foreign places and strong women.
I post all reviews to Amazon, Good Reads and my blog. I share reviews posted on my blog on Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and Pinterest.
I do not accept payment for my reviews. I accept submissions for review in either pdf or mobi format, paper copies will be accepted if an electronic version is not available.
When requesting a review I will advise when my review will be complete. If you need it by a certain date, please make me aware of that with your first communication to me. I have many submissions at this time. If you need my review of your book by a certain date I will look at my current schedule and let you know whether or not I can meet your date.
Please provide the following information via email to soniafogal@gmail.com when submitting a request for review:
1. Book title and author name
2. Genre
3. Number of pages
4. Available formats
5. Requested completion date, if any
6. Summary of plot
I will also do cover reveals, blog tours and giveaways if requested, and, again, if my schedule permits.
As I stated in the beginning, I love supporting indie authors. If I read your book and especially enjoy it I will promote you in any way I can. I will do this not only for the specific book that I review, but also for you as a writer in general. I will follow, tweet, retweet, "like", whatever I can do to support you.

Hi Sonia,
ReplyDeleteI'm Carmen Stefanescu from:
http://shadowspastmystery.blogspot.ro/
We are following each other already.
I live in Romania, better known as Dracula's country. I am a teacher of English and German in my own town and country.
Would you, please, be so kind to accept reading and reviewing my paranormal romance Shadows of the Past? It deals with Medieval England, so it's history, too. It has 230 pages.
My novel was released on 4th December as an e-book by Wild Child Publishing, USA. If the answer is affirmative I can send you a PDF copy.
Summary ~from Goodreads~
When Anne and Neil leave on a one-week holiday hoping to reconcile after a two-year separation, little do they know that destiny has other plans for them. Their discovery of human bones and a bejeweled cross in the hollow of a tree open the door to the supernatural realm and the anguished life of Genevieve, a nun from medieval England.
Can Anne save her relationship and help Genevieve her eternal rest?
The twists and turns in this paranormal tale keep the reader guessing up to the end and weave themselves together into a quest to rekindle love.
Award winning author Paulette Mahurin says in the review she wrote for Shadows of the past," Carmen Stefanescu’s Shadows of the Past was a great read that I enjoyed from the first page through the last sentence, that I was sorry to see end.... an excellently crafted work, by an author who clearly knows how to write, who understands literature, and knows how to tell a compellingly great story....

Best regards and Happy Reading in 2013!

Hi Sonia,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Leti Del Mar and I have been following your blog and enjoying its content for some time now. I am contacting you to see if you would be interested in working with me to promote my newest novel, The Land of the Unaltered. It is a YA Dystopian Romance and I have included a blurb for you to peruse at the end of this message.
What I would love to do is a cover reveal in May, which will include the cover image, book blurb or excerpt and a Goodreads widget on your site. Then in July, I would like to include your blog as part of the book’s launch/blog tour. For the blog tour I will give you all the pertinent links and you can choose from a variety of content that I can provide (guest post, interview, character interview, excerpt ect.)
If you are interested in reviewing this book, I would be happy to provide you with an e-copy in whichever format you prefer.
Thanks for your time and I look forward to hearing from you!

Book Blurb:
Rose comes from the capital of the Confederation of Cities where its citizens live in luxury and the greatest fashion statement one can make is being Altered. People change everything about the way they look as often as they do their hairstyle but Rose is different. Her position of privilege has led her to suspect something sinister is happening to the citizens and flees the capital along with her past in search of a fresh start far from home in the Land of the Unaltered.
Flynn hates everything the capital stands for and when a spoiled capital brat is assigned to work with him, he wants nothing better than for her to leave but Flynn was not prepared for someone like Rose. As she continues to surprise and outwit him, they begin to forge a bond that is tested when they discover a secret that could change everything about the world they know.
