I am truly saddened today by the sudden, too-early passing of the talented Rick Hautala. I didn't know Rick personally. I have read some of his books and we were friends on Facebook. His book "The Wildman" was one of my first reviews on my blog. He was always a pleasure on Facebook. Without exception everyone who knew him describes him as a great friend and, to the aspiring authors who knew him he was a great teacher and source of encouragement.
A great writer and a great friend -
you will be missed Rick.
